Shumaila Shoukat

Shumaila is a committed and passionate lawyer with Sage Law Group. Her work encompasses a wide range of areas, including Family/Child protection litigation, immigration issues, Commercial, civil, and real estate litigation.

She has had amazing professional progress and legal knowledge while working as a lawyer in Ontario. has diligently advised clients on the need for divorce, child custody, child access, child support, marriage contract/ prenuptial agreements, annulments, and matrimonial house division. Additionally, she has developed a plan to resolve the dispute between the parties in which additional litigation may be pointless.

She worked as a legal researcher for Academy Place Law in Edmonton, Alberta, and as an intern/associate at Kashlaw Professional in Mississauga, Ontario, prior to being called to the bar.

As a lawyer, she has a diversified legal expertise of over 8 years from back home (Pakistan) where she worked for a leading telecom giants and Government telecom as a litigation team member. She maintained her commitment to becoming a practising lawyer after relocating to Canada, which she successfully accomplished.
